Josie's Bio

Hi there! I'm Josette Ramirez, but you can call me Josie. Currently, I'm tackling a double duty of work and school. Over the weekends, I step into the role of a shift lead at Walgreens, and during the week, I'm a Lab Tech in PC's Forensic Science department. Recently, I made a switch in my major, trading my MAPP transfer degree for Biochemistry. The plan is to make my way to ASU by the end of the coming year. My aim is to dive into the world of Forensic Science, and I believe that this degree gives me more flexibility than a dedicated Forensic Science program. This marks my third semester as part of the TRAIN Scholar program, and I'm eager to soak up knowledge that will guide me on my ASU journey. On a personal note, I'm a proud owner of two cats. Music is my go-to for relaxation and letting go of worries. Phoenix, AZ has always been my home base. I have a soft spot for exploring new spots and trying new things. As a bit of an introvert, I find solace in the pages of Stephen King novels and lose myself in crime-solving TV shows like Forensic Files, Law and Order: SVU, Criminal Minds, and CSI, among others.
