This week is my first week in the TRAIN program. I spoke with Josh to go over research ideas. He helped me figure out what I should pick for my research topic. Since I’m interested in Forensics, he suggested that I go around campus collecting soil samples to analyze so that I can put them into a “crime scene” scenario. I really like that idea, but that also got me thinking about possibly coming up with another type of “crime scene”. I’m excited to put this project together because it will help me gain more experience and a more hands-on approach to what I want to do for a living.
