Happy Thursday everyone! I really don’t have a lot to report since I haven’t spent much time working on my project. I was hoping to receive my unknown sample so I can analyze the known samples and unknown at the same time. In the meantime, I did use one of the lenses in the Forensic lab to get an idea of what the soil looked like. The picture I posted is from one of my samples. I think it looks really cool seeing it magnified up close like that! I also put some soil on a paper towel to compare with the color swatches that I took from the hardware store. I thought I found some colors very similar to the soils but we will see. That’s all folks! Have a wonderful weekend!
